Internships are a rite of passage for college students, offering a way to gain valuable experience before they enter the workforce. For employers, it’s a chance to preview the top talent before they graduate. Incorporating RedCape training into your internship program ensures that both your company and the interns benefit equally.
CUSTOM ASSESSMENT
There is no need to teach interns Microsoft Office skills they already possess. We’ll assess their abilities on the first day to come up with a tailored learning plan. When the internship ends, we’ll assess again, providing a perfect before-and-after view of their progress.

Programming | 3 Phases
Pre-Assessment
Phase 1
Interns complete two (2) baseline skill assessments for Excel.
Excel Assessment Level I
Excel Assessment Level II
Training
Phase 2
Interns fill their knowledge gaps with the RedCape Excel learning path containing the recommended on-demand courses.
Optional upgrade: Office Hours Session (see below)
Post-Assessment
Phase 3
Interns take a final assessment to benchmark their skills after training. Once complete, interns will fill out an exit survey that will contribute data to the final ROI report.

Companies that don’t compensate interns monetarily must do so educationally, or risk violating the Fair Labor Standards Act. Adding RedCape training fulfills that requirement. We handle the back end of this process—your employees won’t be tied up teaching the interns. Instead, you’ll be able to assign each intern work that matches their abilities. If your company offers paid internships, adding RedCape training will make these positions even more coveted.
